William Dale “Bill” Snyder, Class of 1972, age 71, of Lewisberry, Pennsylvania, passed away peacefully on May
20, 2025.  Born on March 24, 1954, in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, Bill was the beloved son of Dale Snyder  and Lois “Jane” Wallower. He was also lovingly raised by his stepfather, Paul “Bud” Wallower.
Throughout his life, Bill remained deeply connected to his roots in central Pennsylvania.  A devoted husband and father, Bill is survived by his wife, Lynne Snyder; daughters Elisabeth  Rainey and Gwyneth Brothers; sons-in-law Kevin Rainey and Clark Brothers; and grandchildren
Lewis Rainey, Brynlie Brothers, and Mya Brothers. He also leaves behind his brother Bob  Snyder and wife Lisa; sister Paula Wallower-Martz and husband Barry; as well as several  cousins, nieces, and nephews who cherished him dearly.  Bill was predeceased by his parents Paul “Bud” Wallower and Lois “Jane” Wallower; his father  Dale Snyder; stepmother Jane Snyder; and sister Diane Wallower.  Bill had a lifelong passion for motorcycles, history, and sailboats-interests that reflected both  his adventurous spirit and thoughtful nature. Whether riding the open road or exploring the  past through books and documentaries, he found joy in discovery and movement.  A faithful follower of Jesus Christ, Bill was a longtime member of the United Methodist
Church in West Fairview, Pennsylvania. In recent years, he also attended River of God church.
