Ole Shaffe will be sorely missed! ...especially at our future CD class reunions. He was a breed apart and w No computer, email, TV or cell phone has had a great impact on me to 'simplify' all the electronics in my life. Ie: dumping my landlines...and...TV in order to enjoy more quiet reading and playing outside! ...which he and I joked about the last time we spoke. Many of us just saw him last year at our 50th and he gladly helped me, and had all the right connections, to organize our class sporting clays shoot in Piketown, which I hope to continue each May during my annual PA visits.

Indeed Gary led a very interesting life. He and I usually continued the class reunion celebrations long after everyone parted ways - some were colorful to say the least. The last time I spoke with him was last year at Scott Black's wedding in Sinnemahoning - not too far from my home in Emporium. He will definitely be missed but not forgotten. RIP Gary and I look forward to when our spirits meet again!
So sad....we got to chat with him some at the reunion (I'm pretty sure it was him) and I don't think he remembered me, but I sure remembered him. We're losing too many of our classmates. Gary will be missed.
