Connie Lee Mullen, 58, of Harrisburg, PA entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, September 26, 2012. Connie was the Daughter of Joan Marie (Witmer) and the late Russel Lee Potteiger and her stepfather Edward J. Parson. She was the wife of John Jay Mullen.
Connie had been an avid bowler in her youth playing on two local leagues at once. She was an accomplished gymnast and head majorette for Central Dauphin High School. She was also involved with the Big 33 games for several years.
Connie is survived by her mother Joan Marie Witmer. Her loving husband John Jay Mullen. Her daughter Selena Marie Woods. 2 sisters; Carol Ann Potteiger and Christine Farley. Her sister-in-law Patricia Anne Baker. Her Aunt Jeanie Hostetter and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her father Russel Lee Potteiger, stepfather Edward J. Parson and father-in-law Kenneth E. Mullen.
Services for Connie Lee Mullen will be held on Tuesday, October 2, 2012 at Saint Thomas United Church of Christ, 6490 Linglestown Road, Harrisburg, PA 17110 with Rev. Donald C. Wetzel officiating. The memorial service will begin at noon with a visitation prior to it beginning at 11am. In lieu of flowers contributions can be made to Saint Thomas United Christian Church.
