Sharon Holroyd Jackson

Since 1972, I have lived many places and experienced many things, including a stint with the U.S.A.F. Not sure why but, 2 marriages did not work out for me so, from 2001 to 2016, I was single. Third time is a charm and I remarried in April 2016. I have 6 grandchildren. I lost my oldest sister, Pat, in 1999, my dad in 2001 and my youngest sister, Janice, in April of 2011. I had been taking care of things for my mother but, unfortunately, she passed away on January 25th of this year (2020). Bob and I travel some and we just got back from a trip to Kansas to see my daughter and her family. Never been there so it was quite an experience!

As I only spent one year at Central Dauphin before moving to Dauphin County Technical School, my fondest memory is of the snack bar down the hall from the cafeteria. Ginny Schroth and I had some good times behind the counter, flirting with some of the shop guys. My favorite teacher had to be John Clark, science. I hated science but I really liked Mr. Clark. The football games were great as was May Day and the after prom party. Where has the time gone?!
